Your Best Year Yet!

Every tear you shed in 2024 has been watering the seeds of your 2025 harvest.

Since 2017, I have made it a practice to select a word or mantra each year. In 2017, I felt led to adopt the word "fearless," and I embraced the mantra "The Year of the Fearless" throughout the year.

Ironically, this was the year I encountered some of my greatest fears. During this time, I witnessed my YouTube channel reach its first 1,000 subscribers, launched my ministry, His Daughter's Closet, and organized my first Prom Dress Drive.

While it would be easy to claim these accomplishments came effortlessly, the truth is that day after day, God taught me that true fearlessness meant confronting my fears instead of avoiding them. It involved facing my fears head-on and choosing to move forward despite them. The lessons I learned in 2017 have stayed with me, and each year since, I have continued the tradition of selecting a word or mantra and a corresponding scripture.

As December 2024 came to a close, I reflected on the year and realized that there were several areas where I had fallen short. From income and growth projections to new initiatives I had planned but didn’t implement, it was easy to focus on the things that didn't happen and the areas where I felt God hadn’t shown up.

However, I chose to shift my perspective and focus on the ways in which God had been present. Despite having fewer financial resources, God sustained us throughout the year. He enabled programs, teams, and events to take place. He provided for the continued payment of assistants and blessed the ministry with new opportunities and connections.

For 2024, my word was "higher." In the process, I found myself being humbled in ways that required me to have greater faith. I experienced significant successes that could only have been orchestrated by God. The year taught me to trust in Him for even greater things and to believe in His ability to elevate me to new heights.

I pray that 2025 becomes your best year yet! No matter what you've lost, I trust that God will restore and repay you. Every tear you shed in 2024 has been watering the seeds of your 2025 harvest. I believe with all my heart that God is still in control and can bring things into your life that will leave you speechless.
