When Nothing Has Changed!

For a moment, I would like you to imagine a woman in labor for 12 hours, and the doctor telling her, “Just push a little more!” But she is exhausted, drained, no strength left. She feels like she has nothing else in her, but somehow she works up the nerve to push one more time really hard.

That describes many of us right now, doesn’t it? We are pushing, straining to give birth to our visions, dreams, and breakthroughs. It’s becoming more difficult with the passage of time. It’s not smooth sailing at all. As a matter of fact, there are rough seas ahead, and there’s nothing glamorous about it.

When we begin to push, we have such momentum, and we are so ready for the end results. But what happens when you’ve been pushing for so long and nothing has changed, no moves have shifted, and you're still in the same place you were last year?

This is a huge pill to swallow, and this truth can cause many believers to throw in the towel. Not on Jesus, but on His will for our lives. We tell ourselves, “It’s time to grow up, stop all this dreaming and believing and go to work, take a sorta-kinda right job, and a sorta-kinda right man and that’s it, things will be okay.” But God has much more for us than a sorta-kinda right life.

If we decide to stop pushing just to get recharged, we are building up a new momentum again! We are allowing ourselves to become reformed! Way Better and Way Together!

This is our time to KEEP PUSHING until we get the result God has for us!

It won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it!
