Turn Around Season

In the thick of my struggles back in February, God whispered to my heart, “It’s your turn-around season”. For a moment I doubted it. I got scared, like, “what if I believe and nothing turns around?” But within moments my heart was filled with so much joy and hope. For the next two months, I would see God shake up my schedule, my ministry, and my relationships, but all of it was for His good.

I watched myself somehow start flowing with my coursework and ministries. And the months when I thought we wouldn’t break even, we would do amazing. So, quickly I watched God turn my situation around.

Nonetheless, in the turn-around, I still cried some nights.

I still questioned if I was doing this right.

I still wondered if God was going to restore me. And even in all that, God kept his word.

I want to encourage you that you can embrace the turn-around season for yourself. No matter what you are going through or have been going through. This isn’t just a word to have you excited today

and empty tomorrow. It’s a word that will empower you to push forward. A word on the days when you can’t quite move, just speak to yourself, “it’s still my turn-around”. Since receiving that word in February, I watched God supernaturally supply my needs for the ministry. I watched Him revamp an entire office when I couldn’t afford it. I watched Him empower women all around me when I felt empty or depleted. I watched Him heal a relationship that I had been avoiding for two years. I watched Him put a new passion in me for the new series and goals of the ministry. Over and over again, I watched God keep His word.

So, today I urge you to believe that right now you are standing in your turn-around season. Don’t ever allow where you are to dictate where you are going. God is turning things around for you.

The setback is turning around.

The pain of the relationship is turning around.

The fear of man is turning around.

The struggle in your mind is turning around.

God is turning that thing around that has been closed to you.

To embrace this turnaround, remember each time an obstacle arises, or a moment of doubt comes in, remember that it’s your “Turn-around Season” and document every turn-around God does.
