Merry Christmas

Sitting in a small church, with little kids standing in the pulpit singing Christmas carols. The little girls with their Christmas dresses on and bows in their hair made me smile because I was once that little girl. Maybe you were too. I noticed that Christmas is said to be the most wonderful time of the year. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Although his birth is beautiful, there was a death that came with a lot of mourning. Right now some are mourning the loss of loved ones, the loss of relationships, or even the loss of a dream. Although, this is a magical time for some, for others it’s not. You may feel left out or even have found yourself with tears streaming down your cheeks due to the loss of a loved one. No matter how you are experiencing this season, we want to remind you that every season must change. 

After winter comes spring. 

After sorrow comes joy. 

After pain comes relief. 

After ashes comes beauty.

After all, you have been through this year, comes strength, hope, and love.

With all the gifts and lights, I hope we remember the real light, our savior of the world. All of what we can do is only because of our redeemer and our redeemer lives.
