Live The WORD

There have been many times when I felt bad for not memorizing scripture. When I first got saved, I noticed many others were quickly able to find the verses they were looking for, yet I still needed the index to find the names of the books of the Bible.

This was an insecurity of mine and still is at times. However, God never called me to memorize the Bible, but to live the Bible.

Many of us have our favorite scripture(s) memorized, not because it sounds good, but because it is targeted, impacted, or imprinted on our lives at one time or another.

The Word is meant to be studied, but it’s also meant to be read and enjoyed. As you read the Bible, certain verses will stick with you and others will not, but the ones that stick with you are the ones that you can apply to a particular season, circumstance, or struggle, and it will see you through it.

So, I don’t want you to feel like you have to memorize every verse in the Bible, just live the verse. Let the verse impact your life so much that you walk in it daily.

Allow the verse to encourage so much that you have a refreshed faith.

The ministry is founded on one verse...Mark 5:34. “Daughter, your faith has made you whole, go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” And that verse stuck with me in my darkest hour. It was this verse that pulled me out of the pits of my mind. It was this verse that comforted my heart when I was shattered, and it is still this verse that helps women from every walk of life.

It’s not about the verses you memorize, it’s about the verses that you Live Out Daily.

Scripture

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth"

John 1:14
