Sunday church service as I walked on the stage my heart began to pound my hands were already shaking and my confidence was not apparent. In the moment of nervousness and doubt, I had to hold on to my Confidence in God and know that He was with me and He called me to do this. He was firmly Planted on His promise even if I wasn't' and He wasn't going anywhere. Before I knew it, I was speaking the message and in flow with the Holy Spirit, no fear, just joy. As I spoke joy began to fill me and I knew that now I was no longer walking in my own confidence.
If you're anything like me self-confidence isn't enough, mine waivers depending on the wrong angle in a picture or one mess up I will begin doubting myself. However, Godfidence isn't about you. It's about looking past all your flaws and standing firm that Gods Got You.
That even the setback is preparing you for your comeback. That the struggle in your life was predestined by God and He will reveal his Purpose in it. Maybe just maybe we all need to walk a little taller, stop being intimidated and be the Daughter God is calling us to be.
Confidence: the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust.
When we have Confidence in God we firmly stand on His character, words, and purpose. We decide that no matter what stories our mind makes up or our feelings aren't connected with, we will trust in Him. Even in the struggle, even in the lack, even in the fear, even in the
discouragement, we will trust Him.
True Godfidence is when we can trust God through the struggle to get us to our Purpose!
So, Stand tall, Push fear Away, hold on to the word, vision, and revelation and move forward in Godfidence.
